From about 2003-2006 David and I renovated our house, tranforming it from a sterile white bachelor pad to an elegant home that even Martha Stewart would be proud of! Most of the work we did ourselves, including the flooring, painting, trim and baseboards, closet doors, light fixtures and ceiling fans. We had to bring in contractors via Lowes to install new appliances, cabinets, countertops, and sink. The central A/C system, not wanting to be left out, decided to die during a very hot July, so we have a new A/C system as well. We also got some new furniture.
