On the evening of July 15, 2009, a very bad thunderstorm moved through the area. It had already spawned a couple of tornados which did damage to several buildings in South Orange county. The storm was still pretty strong by the time it got to us, strong enough to knock one of the pine trees in our backyard into our patio. The following pictures were taken the next morning. Fortunately the tree missed the house, and insurance paid for the repairs.
