Day Seven: Aruba |
Aruba was our final port of call. We hooked up with Darin and Tim and spent the afternoon wandering about town. Aruba seemed the most modern of all the ports of call, and reminded us of being in Miami or Key West. Definitely some place we wouldn't mind spending a long weekend at. There was also a bear catamaran excursion that day we heard was a lot fun, despite a couple of broken bones due to a rope swing. That afternoon, I brought my camera down by the bear pool (the Terrace pool on desk 15, aft). That evening we had reservations at Sabatinni's, the onboard specialty Italian restaurant. Joining us were several other guys, namely Don, Petey and Mark, Steve and Ernesto, and Bart. A very nice, very large meal ending in the dessert pictured below.
