Today the Alaskan tour begins! After a very nice buffet breakfast at the hotel and a little last-minute shopping at a nearby drug store, we made our way down to Canada Place, the cruise terminal, just a few blocks walking distance from the hotel. There we boarded the Coral Princess and settled into our stateroom (A402). We had lunch at the buffet and then explored the ship a bit. We discovered the ship had a pool with a retractable roof (the roof was closed) which will mean we can swim even if its cold outside (which it was for the rest of the trip). Also at the cruise terminal was Holland America's Zuiderdam. Around 5 PM the ship left port for Alaska.
